Our First Adoption - Oliver!

Oliver joins a 1 year old male kitty in this home filled with love!

And as if that wasn't exciting enough for the day, we had a wonderful adopter stop by to meet our shy girls Sammy and Tabby! We fully expect her to be approved and we are so excited that the girls will be going to patient person who will give them a chance to shine. We don't want to leave Casey out of the fun - she also has an application pending and odds are good she will be going to a home this week as well.

We were SO excited to see this huge food donation arrive compliments of Ridgefield Operation for Animal Rescue.

This photo was taken after two large bags had already been shared with a man who feeds colonies here in Bridgeport. Canned, dry, adult and kitten food, plus a number of great kitty beds that will be perfect at Petco and for our foster cats at home. Thank you ROAR and thank you Kathy and Gene for transporting and all the heavy lifting!

Fosters Needed!

Space for intake is always a challenge whether you have a 1 bedroom apartment or an entire building. Help us help more cats by fostering.

MARYANN is one of the most friendly cats ever! She loves to be petted often preferring attention to eating. She is currently on ear meds but treatment will be done in a few days, and she is very easy to medicate. Maryann has a spay appointment April 12th. If you could bring her to the appointment and then keep for a few days after, that would be great. Otherwise we'll take her back a day or two before. 

CLAIRE is another very friendly and very pregnant girl who came to us as a stray. By the time you read this she may have already had babies, she is very wide! Claire could really use a quiet room away from other pets for the next 8-9 weeks.

After Adoption Comes Intake!

One of the most exciting things about having an adoption is that it opens up space for us to take in a new kitty in need.

FELIX will be joining All About The Cats on Sunday, coming from a home with 4 other kitties who lost their caregiver. He's 5 years old, very friendly and easy going. He'll see a vet to get his vaccines updated then be ready to find a new family to love.

Volunteers Needed at Petco!

We really need a few more volunteers to cover a 1 hour shift, AM or PM, to scoop boxes, light cleaning, make sure kitties have food and water, and of course, get a little extra love and attention!

We could really use your help! Just one hour per week would make a big difference. An AM shift could be 8-9, 9-10 or 10-11. PM could be 4-5, 5-6, or 6-7. It can vary from week to week. Please signup as a volunteer if you can help! Thank you so much to Suzanne and Eleanor who have both signed up!

Cats Around Town, Trumbull

We're registered for Trumbull Library's Volunteer Fair on April 27. We'll be among 23 organizations from Fairfield County hoping to signup new volunteers and the only animal rescue as far as we know. 

Can you help us staff a table 11-2? This will be our first "split" Saturday. Some of us will be at Petco for adoptions but we want to make a good showing at this event too. If you can help out at either location during those hours please let us know!
