Stop by and visit our table at the first ever Trumbull Library Community Volunteer Fair April 27th. We're still hoping to fill some open AM & PM shifts at Petco feeding and cleaning the cats, just 1 hour per week makes a difference!

Adoption Follow-up - Ozzy!

Ozzy - now MIMO - is doing great! He's on his way to be a spoiled kitty and follows his new mom everywhere :-)

Volunteers Needed at Petco!
|
We really need a few more volunteers to cover a 1 hour shift, AM or PM, to scoop boxes, light cleaning, make sure kitties have food and water, and of course, get a little extra love and attention!
|
Just one hour per week would make a big difference to help us adopt out more cats. An AM shift could be 8-9, 9-10 or 10-11. PM could be 4-5, 5-6, or 6-7. It can vary from week to week.
Currently looking to fill Monday and Wednesday evenings, and Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
Please signup as a volunteer if you can help or reply to this message. We can also really use help on Sundays 11-2 during adoption hours, especially on weekends that Vetco is in store (next clinic dates are April 21 and May 5). Thank you so much!

Adoptions Are Slow This Week
|
We have some fantastic cats at Petco right now! They all get tons of attention and interest from shoppers but so far no new adoptions.

If you don't already follow us on Facebook please do! Liking and sharing our cats is an easy and effective way to find them a home! We're closing in on 200 followers and can't wait to get there so we can reach new potential adopters!

ZEDO was an owner surrender due to an eviction, and it took him a few days to decide we were OK. He is 1 year old, lived with other cats and children, and did well with both! He's being neutered on Wednesday.

|
PETER was also an owner surrender and came in with two friends. He loves to be petted, have attention and spend time with people. He's a gentle giant at 15 lbs. Peter has also lived with children and was very good with them.

CHARLIE was a stray, can you believe it with that coloring? Very friendly with people, has lived with other cats in foster and has been letting children pet him in store. He is not a fan of dogs (larger ones anyway) but is very easy going otherwise.
