6 Weeks at Petco, 8 Adoptions!

Peter is our most recent adoption, over the weekend. His new family sent this update later the same day. Look at this 15 lb lap cat :) Congratulations everyone!

Zedo was #7 and already fitting in well, he's a happy boy to be back in a home!

Foster Urgently Needed for 3 Weeks: Mom and Five Babies
|
Friendly but scared momma cat Sandy and her adorable babies. Kittens were supposed to already be 8 weeks but are not. They need a little time to get bigger before placing into adoptive homes. They are eating canned and dry on their own. We can loan you a large crate and provide food and litter. You provide love and playtime!
Mom is OK with other cats being nearby. Currently living in a crate desperately needed for brand new mom Penny who gave birth this morning.

JESSIE is a very friendly and sweet girl who came to us along with Peter. She may be his sister, or not, we don't know for sure but similar coloring and temperament make it a strong possible. About 2-3 years old, good with other cats and children, not a huge fan of dogs so far, really coming out of her shell at Petco over the weekend! Definitely a lap cat.

PERCY is a very sweet and friendly boy about 3 who is FIV positive. As you can see he was loose at my house with my cats. FIV is not a huge deal with a friendly cat. It's only passed by bite wounds and mating, not by sharing food, water, litter boxes or bedding. It's not contagious to humans or other animal species.

MICKEY was this outgoing the very first day at Petco! He loved all the people going by him and looking out the store doors to see what was happening in the parking lot. He's brand new so we don't know alot about him but is very friendly and seems open to being friends with other cats or with a dog friend. He is also about 3 and FIV positive.
