Carter is a sweet, affectionate and gentle kitty who came to us as a stray. He was living outside a pizza place in a cardboard box until one of our volunteers reached out to see if we could take. He is not a fan other male cats, likely due to living outside and having run-ins with them, but he definitely gets along with girl kitties :) He's very talkative at times so if you meow at him be prepared for a long conversation!

Carter is 2-3 years old, neutered (previously), up to date on vaccines and tested (negative) for Aids and Leukemia. Good with children and a little goofy :)

His new family sent us an update recently "Charlie's awesome, he's the best cat ever. Theia is slowly warming to him. He's a delightful and sweet boy."

Momma Sandy and her adorable babies went to a fabulous foster home! Unfortunately Sandy became more aggressive over the week she was there and has now been separated from her 6 week old kittens. We're waiting for her milk to dry up to get her spayed and hoping after surgery she will be back to shy but not growling.
She is so beautiful we would love to see her adopted into a home, but she does have a colony and caretaker to go back to if she prefers. If any of our shy cat socializers would like to foster Sandy we'd love to have your help!
Her babies went to the vet for a first check up and were seen by an approved adopter who wants two of them as soon as they are ready :)

Momma Ginny is a sweet, friendly and outgoing girl who's babies are almost ready for homes! They were born March 18 and are as cute as can be.

Momma Penny gave us surprise just 3 days after the vet let us know she was pregnant! She has 3 adorable little ones who's eyes have just opened. Penny is a little shy but very sweet and loves to be petted. She is a great momma and everyone is doing well.

We also need a couple people to manage appointment coordination: checking people in as they arrive, texting/calling people who have checked in to let them know their appointment time is coming up, making sure everyone signs a waiver, collecting their donation, etc.
You can use our cell to call or text so you are not sharing your number with a lot of strangers :) Event is being held in Bridgeport Petco parking lot, at 4559 Main St.

Still looking for help to fill shifts on Monday and Tuesday mornings. Easy cleaning, feeding and socializing with 4 cats at Petco. A shift could be 8-9, 9-10 or 10-11 whatever works best for you! And of course if anyone is interested in being a "floater" that would be super helpful also :)

JESSIE is a very friendly and sweet girl who came to us when her family could no longer provide care. She's about 2-3 years old, good with other cats and children, but not a huge fan of dogs so far, She loves to be petted, have attention and is definitely a lap cat. Come meet this pretty girl soon.

STEVE is a very sweet and friendly boy 2-3 who is loves to be petted! He is easy going, good with children and other cats, or happy as your only kitty. Did we mention handsome?! How can this cute guy not have a home yet! Visit us on social media (see below) and please share our kitties with friends and family.

MICKEY is a very outgoing boy and loves to watch all the people and pets that come into the store. He's very curious and still playful too. He was fostered with other cats and is good with older children. He seems open to living with a friendly dog as well. Mickey about 3 and FIV positive.
