We're up to 45 Adoptions Including Wellington

Wellington came to us as a stray but at 15 lbs it is unlikely he was on the street very long :) A wonderful family with another large boy cat about the same age snapped him up after meeting him at Petco. He's doing great in his new home and is a perfect "chill" cat, exactly what they wanted!

Timothy, another champion napper!

Timothy was another very friendly stray kitty and was likely abandoned on the east side of Bridgeport. Luckily for him one of our regular feeders reached out to us and we were able to get him inside, vetted, and adopted. He's also happy to show off his napping skills. I'm jealous! I comfy couch, blanket, a cat and a book - what's better than that?

Very friendly petite girl great with people but not really a fan of other cats. She would probably be OK with an easy going male kitty if introduced slowly. She's about 2 years old and her babies are also looking for homes!

We're losing three volunteers this month due to school and work :( We need a volunteer for Thursday mornings starting August 8th. We need a volunteer for Monday nights starting August 19th. And if anyone has time Sunday mornings between 10-11 it would be a huge help to adoptions if someone could be there to feed and clean before we setup for the day! We've been SO successful with adoptions at Petco, in large part to our great volunteers. Please consider joining the team!

Natsu can be a silly boy!

Natsu means Summer in Japanese! We had no idea but it's fits him. He was shy for awhile and can be moody after meeting people all day but overall he's a friendly, gentle boy and a little goofy too!

Texas Roadhouse a Success!
|
We were at Texas Roadhouse on August 1st with a great spread setup by Cindy! We are still waiting to hear from the restaurant as to how much we will receive but we took in almost $300 from the sale of magnets and donations in general. Thank you to everyone who participated especially Lorna who's always a good sport :)
