Our 100th Adoption in 2024!

Blue came to us as a stray from a nearby condo complex and has amazing light blue eyes which became his trade mark and name. The woman who had been feeding him shared our Facebook post with a co-worker who was looking to adopt and the rest is history! He now has his own little girl and a kitty brother for friends.

We are so thrilled to have reached this amazing goal our very first year and are so grateful to everyone who helped along the way! We began our partnership with Bridgeport Petco in late March and have been so happy with the number of wonderful adopters and volunteers we have found because of it.

Recent follow ups:

Elysha now LU, enjoying her new home. Lu is one of Claire's babies.

Suzie and Sasha still love to snuggle with each other. They came to us at 4 weeks old after being found all alone.

Cookie now Gracie and Maggie are becoming great friends. These two babies were both found outside alone.

Ruth enjoying snuggles with her new kitty brother. Rush was another kitten found all by herself outside.

Molly and Olivia were just 6 weeks old when found as strays and immediately placed into foster. Lucky for them, their foster family fell in love and adopted the girls!

Meet Velvet, abandoned

Velvet is a very friendly girl about 1 who was abandoned when her owner moved. She has a birth deformity that does not allow her right front leg to support weight. After a vet visit and several x-rays that is the prognosis. We're thrilled she is OK but our bank account took a hit. Happy New Year!

Looking ahead to 2025! More adoptions, more friendly cats off the street, more ferals spayed and neutered, and fewer kittens born outside. 

And because it's a time to make resolutions I will put out there my fondest wish - a physical space to call our own! Any cat loving property owners out there? If it was near Petco for easy transport between the two places that would be a bonus :)
